Ukrainian coffee roaster Soloway Coffee has opened its first international location in Chicago, USA.
The 23-seat store features a varied coffee menu of espresso, drip coffee and pour over, as well as cold brew and espresso tonic.
Founded in 2016 by Artur and Iriyna Yuzvik, Soloway Coffee operates two coffee shops and a bakery under the name Karma Kava in Ternopil, Ukraine.
The business roasts for 275 retail and wholesale customers across Ukraine, Moldova and Poland, with the single-origin coffee served in its Chicago outlet imported from its 20,000sq ft roastery in Ternopil.
With a third coffee shop currently in development in Ukraine, Soloway Coffee plans to expand through Europe and the US and open a further 10 sites within the next five years.
βI want to predict maybe in five years, weβre going to open 10 locations, but me and my wife always say we donβt want to do quantity, we always want to do quality. Iβd rather open one location a year but make it memorable, make it unique,β Artur Yuzvik told
